5 NEW Wonders of Cebu (Highlands Tour)

Lets see something new here in Cebu! When it comes to South, North and downtown Cebu City there is so much to discover such like beautiful islands, canyoonering, whale watching, distinct tourist spots and specially the city’s history.

But now it’s going to be an around the world experience in one province! What!? Yes! Here are some similar tourist spots in China, Greece, Amsterdam and New Zealand . Let’s pack up!

1. TEMPLE OF LEAH

(TAJ MAHAL OF CEBU)

Inspired by the Ancient Roman Architecture in Greece. The temple build of a husband for her wife Leah Adarda who died from cancer dedication for all the good thing she’d done. The temple feature a gallery, library, collection base and many more. The area was still construct but you still feel the ambiance of temple and you’d been travel to Greece.

The temple is a symbol of undying love and ceaseless devotion. Leah Adarna was chosen Matron Queen of her Alma Mater the University of Southern Philippines. The nine foot bronze statue portrays her composure and regal bearing when she was crowned may the beholder discern her innate beauty, poise and gentleness.

How to get to:

There are three types of vehicles available for travelers who want to go to the temple. Once in downtown Cebu, one can rent a motorcycle, otherwise known as ‘Habal habal’ motor back-ride, taxi and on a public jeep.

Cebu Trans central Highway, Cebu City

Open 6am to 11pm

2. SIRAO GARDEN I

(PICTORIAL GARDEN)

There are 2 farms in Sirao. One is the Little Amsterdam where the windmill and sunflower mazed and Sirao Pictorial Garden where the famous giant hand and floating umbrellas is located. The place over all true beauty. You really can reconnect and admired Mother Nature here. Better time to visit is weekdays morning to avoid crowd.

Good for selfie enthusiasm! Great place to take a prenup wedding, instagramable shots with your love-ones created a wonderful memories.

How to get to:

Going there in your own vehicle rent car/van or motor can save you from hassle of transferring between vehicle and can save you from spending for the fare.

For commute, looking for affordable ride take a habal-habal or public utility jeep.

3. SIRAO GARDEN II

(LITTLE AMSTERDAM)

Paradise

We enjoyed taking photos with the flowers, Cinderella’s Carousel and big yellow sunflowers. They called it little Amsterdam because of the Zaanse Schans windmill in Netherland. Being here also with the flowers is like you are in different place.

Instagram-worthy? Hell Yes! No argument needed. But you would need plenty of time looking for the best shot selection. Be at your most creative shot.

Worth to Visit!

The place is just Amazing! The flower farm and Amsterdam Windmill is definitely worth for selfie and groupies. Its popular of their Sunflower mazed, different kinds of flowers and such a stunning view.

Its a complete package of fresh air, traffic, pollution and noise. Its such a chill place and it will take you to a very different lever of goodness.

How to get to:

4. PHILIPPINE TAOIST TEMPLE, INC

Chinese architectural is pretty good and very interesting and unique. Its my first time to visit a Chinese temple perfect for a quick stop, with a peaceful atmosphere and wonderful views.

Its a hike but worth it. A must stop when you’re in the City. The architecture, design, observance of people meditation and prayer is something thats worth experience.

How to get to:

I recommended to ride on a taxi cab since the place is somewhat far from main road or look for Habal habal driver and ask to drop you off to Taoist Temple.

5. NERISVILLE #selfieCORNER

Neris ville is owned and operated by Christine Neri who is in-charge of development of this instagrammable spot. Actually a perfect for taking pictures, improving of selfie corners for a perfect place to take a pic. The road way to Selfie Corner are good but little far from downtown Cebu and its all worth it when you get there.

These Hobbit House inspired by the New Zealand hobbiton and its for views and pictures only.

Always remember biyaheros (travelers) take nothing but Pictures. The Nest famous picture spot mostly people common profile picture on social media. Better to take selfie here with a wonderful view.

How to get to:

Ride a 62C jeep to Pit-os. Get off at Flying V Pit-os. Look for habal habal driver to Neris Ville.
